I fell into the TikTok rabbit hole a few months ago and learned about hot girl walks. I was at a point in my life looking for exercise ideas that I could be consistent with and see some results. When I discovered that daily walks were a thing and people were seeing actual results, you didn’t have to tell me twice; I quickly jumped on it. When I started doing my walks, I was dedicated to two walks daily (one in the AM and a second in the PM). In a month, the way my entire body completely transformed both physically and non-physically. I never even could have imagined that.

Weight Loss
Of course, as expected, the weight loss was the most noticeable change; in a month, I think I was down about 4 or 5 pounds from walking daily. And these were power walks, not your average strolls, and I must add during this time frame, I was very intentional about what I was eating, but I made no drastic changes. Nevertheless, seeing how my body changed from my only exercise, walking, was terrific.

My Skin up-leveled!!!
I didn’t expect to have my skin glowing from my daily walks; I’m unsure if it’s because I was drinking more water or sweating more (or it could have been a combination of both). But I felt like my skin was glowing and shining. Also felt my skin was a lot clearer too.

Gut Health was on point.
Walking every day improved my gut health, I felt like such a well-oiled machine, and everything worked perfectly in that area. Before this, I always thought I wasn’t very regular, but my daily walks greatly improved this aspect of my life. With my gut being so happy, it also helped stop bloating, which I am prone to experiencing.

Sleeping so much better
With my consistency and dedication to my daily walks, I noticed that my sleep schedule and being much more rested overall improved. I was getting a full 8hrs or even more of sleep, which also improved my mental health. In addition, I could see the difference in how I interact with my family.
Hot girl walks are all the rave on social media; it took off from the pandemic, and I appreciate this trend. Past weight loss and overall well-being from taking a walk every day are so beneficial to your body. I have scaled back and not doing as long of miles or going twice a day, but I still make it a point to at least get out once a day for at least a mile walk. I think the effect it has on my body is something I know I need to continue to do.
