The beginning of the year tends to bring on new goals; we set our sights on new things we would love to accomplish in the new year, and that sometimes can get a little overwhelming, and by mid-year, we have fallen off the things we set out to accomplish. This year, I wanted to share ways I intend to achieve the things I have set out for myself but not feel overwhelmed or overburdened by them.

Take things in bite-size!
Rather than setting very big and somewhat unrealistic goals, put them in little bite-size ones. If your plan for the year is to lose some weight, rather than hitting it headstrong and just focusing on the amount of weight you would like to lose, chop it up into small, monthly, or weekly goals. It seems manageable and manageable by looking at it from small attainable goals like that.
Move with a positive mindset.
I am working hard this year to keep myself in a positive bubble. Finding people that can uplift and assist me in seeing the positive in things, also making changes in my own space to help uphold that too
I am focusing on quality instead of quantity.
My aim isn’t just to check things off my goal list but to implement lifelong changes that will far exceed the new year. So to be successful, rather than focusing on the number of times I do something or how often I am getting it done. Instead, focus on how I showed up for that thing, even if it was just once.
More intentional about what I spend my energy and time on!
When the new year rolls around, we tend to emphasize everything and are hyper-focused on getting it all done. So rather than trying to be it all and do it all, I want to be intentional with my focus.
The new year is a great time to come with a clean slate. Finally, we can start on the right footing to set ourselves up for a successful and productive year!
