I can’t believe the holidays are back in full force, like seriously how did 2017 fly so fast (so funny every year, I ask that same question lol) Anyway with the year coming to a close that means time to get those holiday shopping done and if you are like myself with kids, holiday shopping is a little more exciting and stressful. I am actually still trying to figure out what I will be getting for my 4 years old, so I thought I would share some ideas for any toddler parent like myself.
TOYS!!! Toys are always a go to. Thankfully there are plenty of different types of toys out there so you have options more than just the basic stuff.
- No matter what your child is into whether it be traditional Barbie, or super heroes or even character dolls there are plenty of options out there.
- Educational toys, brands like leap frog or vtech are well known in making toys that are educational but still fun and interactive.
- Craft toys, honestly these can get tricky or even messy but they will keep your child busy for hours
Wheels, there are so many options from bicycles, roller blades to even electric cars, I think this is such a nice gift to add to your list especially if you have an active toddler or just tired of the numerous amounts of toys your child has.
Books or Board Games, honestly I love the non traditional gifts because its something you and your child can enjoy and it’s educational too.
There are so many different options of Christmas gifts, just taking a walk through toys r us was a bit overwhelming. But at the end of the day, my biggest advice to parents is don’t break the bank trying to get your child the biggest, most expensive gift cause at the end of the day we have to teach our children that the holidays are more than just the materialistic things. What do you all plan to get the little boys or girls in your life?
